Christian Bale's Palmdale village will keep foster siblings under one roof
Construction began in 2024 on a Palmdale village designed so foster siblings do not get split up. The project, led by actor Christian Bale and physician Eric Esrailian through their charity Together California, will include 12 three-bedroom townhomes, each housing six children under the care of professionally trained full-time foster parents. A 7,000-square-foot community center, a garden, and open spaces round out the site, along with studio apartments for teens aging out of foster care.
Foster siblings can grow up in the same home instead of being scattered across separate foster families.
