JT Ryan’s Bar quiz raises £680 for Pulmonary Fibrosis NI

A charity quiz at JT Ryan’s Bar raised £680 for Pulmonary Fibrosis NI, which supports people living with the life-limiting lung condition across Northern Ireland. Quizmaster Billy Rusher and his wife Anne hosted the October 9 event alongside the bar’s proprietor, Belinda Dickie. Customers and supporters contributed to the fundraiser.
Pulmonary Fibrosis NI provides information, respite breaks and wellbeing activities for people affected by pulmonary fibrosis, their carers and bereaved families. It also helps people with the condition connect with others who understand their experiences, offering what is known as peer support.
Clare Donohoe, charity co-ordinator with Pulmonary Fibrosis NI, accepted the donation at the cheque presentation. The charity thanked Billy, Anne and Belinda for organising and hosting the quiz, along with everyone who attended, donated and helped make the evening a success.
The £680 will help the charity continue its services across Northern Ireland, including through Inis Ceithleann Retreat, its respite property at Lough Erne Golf Village.
