Castlegar guitarist raises more than $1500 for food bank with 24 hours of blues

Castlegar musician Yanive Feiner played blues guitar for 24 hours on Oct. 24, raising more than $1500 for the Community Harvest Food Bank, according to the Grand Forks Gazette.
Feiner, the owner of Supercat Studios, took only short breaks. He live-streamed the performance on his Facebook page, and a few visitors stopped by to play along.
As he reached the final few hours, Feiner thanked supporters and said he was tired, but he finished the day strong.
Donations remain open at [email protected] via e transfer. Donors who want their contribution tracked as part of the fundraiser should add Supercat in the description.
