Phoenix launches first phase of Senior Bridge for older adults

Forty units of Senior Bridge opened in Phoenix as the first phase of the new transitional housing program for adults 55 and older. The city contributed 750,000 to build the units, and Mercy House will run the site, linking residents from city‑owned shelters to stable housing. A second phase funded with 9.6 million will add 56 units of affordable housing.
The new homes give older Phoenix residents at risk of homelessness a stable step toward permanent housing.
