Two Girl Guides buy four ukuleles for Amblecote dementia music group

The pair decided to take action after attending a Dementia Friends session, an evening event where the girls learned about the condition and how it affects individuals and families. The session also covered the importance of understanding and supporting those living with dementia.
Guide leader Alison Legg praised the girls' efforts. "We are incredibly proud of Summer and Macey," Legg said. "Our Dementia Friends evening gave the girls the opportunity to learn more about dementia and understand the importance of kindness, patience and support. To see them raise money themselves by selling bracelets and then choose to donate four ukuleles is fantastic."
