Calgary launches new two-way express bus routes

Calgary Transit launched its new 500-series express routes today, starting with Route 503 Symons Valley Express, a direct, limited-stop service linking Sage Hill and downtown. Route 300 Airport/City Centre was also renamed Route 500 Airport Express. The new routes run all day. "Calgary is growing, and the way people travel is changing," said Sharon Fleming, Calgary Transit's director. The route also complements MAX Green and local community routes nearby.
Sage Hill residents and other Calgarians gain faster, all-day access to downtown without switching buses as often.
