Jim Al-Khalili to take on time in the 2026 Christmas Lectures

Jim Al-Khalili will give the 2026 Christmas Lectures at the Royal Institution, and his subject is time. The theoretical physicist, broadcaster and author will ask what time actually is, according to the Royal Institution, and why it remains one of science's most mysterious topics. The series is supported by CGI. Viewers can watch on the BBC and iPlayer in late December. Members can attend the live filming in the Theatre.
Families watching at home see a physicist take on one of science's hardest questions in terms anyone can follow.
