Wildheart anniversary raises almost £27,000

Wildheart Animal Sanctuary celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Sandown sanctuary on Saturday, September 19, with entertainment, family activities and animal encounters. Hundreds attended the event, which marked five decades of caring for animals on the Island. A drone display by LumaNation was cancelled because of high winds, then rescheduled for Saturday, September 26. Hundreds gathered to watch Wildheart-themed images and messages light up the sky above the sanctuary. Wildheart has confirmed the event will return in 2027.
The almost £27,000 raised will make a genuine difference to the animals in Wildheart’s care.
