Dickinson student turns leftover meal swipes into food for Carlisle community

Every Friday from 4 to 5 p.m. in SNAR, AhnTam Pham ’29 brings a wagonload of food into Carlisle. Through Swipes for Good, Dickinson students can donate leftover meals from plans such as Any 21 to hungry individuals in the community. Students may hand over food in SNAR or scan a QR code on a Swipes for Good poster and place a mobile order through the GET app. Pham adds those orders to the wagon, which goes to Community CARES. Fresh, portable food is especially appreciated.
Swipes for Good gives students a way to direct unused meal swipes to people served by Community CARES instead of letting the meals go to waste.
