Cancer survivor delivers 100 homegrown succulents to oncology patients

Stage-three breast cancer survivor Leonie Robson delivered 100 potted succulents to the oncology department at Manning Base Hospital on October 1. She filled each cardboard pot with cuttings from her garden and her neighbour's garden. The fine-motor work supports her recovery after chemotherapy caused severe peripheral neuropathy. Robson uses her recovering motor skills to brighten the days of patients receiving treatment during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The plants offer cancer patients a small sign of support while Robson continues rebuilding her motor skills through gardening.
