Sunoco station in Halfmoon offers discounts to customers who dance

A Sunoco gas station in Halfmoon, New York launched a Dance for a Discount challenge to help drivers cut fuel costs. Customers who danced at the pump received 20 percent off their total bill. Denise Lapointe, a bus driver and Saratoga County resident in her 60s, saved 15 dollars on her purchase. She appeared in the station's video, which drew nearly 10 million views across social media. The station is located on highway NY-146, about three hours outside New York City.
Small gestures can offer real relief when everyday costs climb. A 20 percent fuel discount gives local drivers a break while rising gas prices strain household budgets across the country.
