Six States Add Personal Finance Graduation Rules, Bringing Total to 17

Full-size image

Six more states added personal finance graduation requirements of at least one semester since Next Gen Personal Finance published its State of Financial Education Report last April. A total of 17 states now have this policy in place or are in the process of implementing for future school years. The requirements guarantee a standalone personal finance course for all high schoolers.

Financial education in high school helps young people build essential life skills and manage their future finances responsibly.
